Communications

The Service includes in-app messaging that allows you to communicate with your provider, caregiver, and Recovery Assistant. Messages exchanged through the Service are collected and stored to support communication, care coordination, and to help identify support needs and provide appropriate guidance.

If you choose to use SMS meal logging, we collect the text messages and images you send to our service number to log your meals. These messages may also be used to support meal logging, identify support needs, and provide relevant guidance or recommendations.

Usage Information

We automatically collect certain information about your device and use of the Service, including device type, operating system, and app usage patterns.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Service
• Process and organize meal logs based on photos and descriptions

• Supabase: Provides secure database and authentication services
• Vercel: Hosts our web services

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to provide services to us.

Healthcare Providers

If you are connected with a healthcare provider or caregiver through WellPlated, your meal logs and related information may be shared with them to support your care. You control these connections through your account settings. You can change or remove connections at any time.

We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WellPlated, our users, or others.
